I also noticed they immediately and almost instantly turned cool again after 2-3 puffs from a joint. Well because to tax it you have to actually grow it and sell it as a legitimate paperwork business, And while a good handful of states have already legalized it in the way I mentioned, at the end of the day on the federal level it has still been a prohibited substance ( I know certain people were talking about changing that recently, I don't think anything has changed yet) And while it's a prohibited substance on the federal level it makes it a lot harder to deal with the banking aspect of the business because in a lot of cases you can only take cash. And in a lot of cases banks don't want to deal with pot shop or grower finances and money because they think in the back of their minds that they might be charged with something illegal down the line if the laws change. Which is stupid but that's what happens when you classify pot in the same bracket as heroin or meth.

The states that have gone around the situation and legalized it are collecting taxes in the way that I mentioned already. But I think that is maybe 10 states out of 50 at best. Everyone else in all of those other states are still smoking it and buying it and paying some drug dealer who is PROBALY in a cartel.
