Look up spalling. Learn about how soft armor works with rifle, or any rounds. Soft armor catches things like a net, it doesn't deflect. 5.56 doesn't generate a wake like that, bullet wake and passing pressure is a gun myth. Even 50 BMG doesn't generate a wake strong enough to move loose cardboard. There's a bunch of videos on YouTube debunking this. Charlie's shirt moves from contact. It's either a deflection, or fragmentation. Might be deflecting off a bone?
