Nobody is forcing you to play games that center around nothing but shooting and killing people. That's always been your choice. The game just asks why you're doing that instead of playing a city builder, or a puzzle game, or a sports game, or a rhythm game. Why did you buy/rent Spec Ops in the first place? Because it had generic soldier man shooting generic enemy people on the cover? Why did that appeal to you, and why do 90% of games need to involve guns and killing people? Why is FPS pretty much the default genre when games could be anything you want them to be? I'm sure that's a little too much for you to think about so just go back to your yearly release of cawadoody and battlefield and turn off your brain a bit longer.
