>Please explain how Russia sacrificing all of their armor and manpower to secure a land bridge to crimea is 4d chess.
Russia is taking back Novorossiya and demilitarizing Ukraine/NATO. Leaving a Ukrainian rump state that will be a net economic drain on a Europe that is already teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

>Explain how Ukraine losing (which they won't because Russians get turned into minced meat every time they set foot west of the Dnipro) will harm NATO in any way.
You are confused about what NATO is. You seem to think NATO is some kind of unified bloc fighting against Russia. No, NATO is essentially America and its dependencies/vassals. To the extent Europeans are pro-America and anti-Russia, is the extent to which America can buy them off. Basically, the extent to which sucking American dick is more profitable than sucking Russian dick.
>Prior to 2014 Russia was in full control of Ukraine.
No Russia didn't, retard. But they certainly had more influence than they do now. Yanukovych was not a Russian puppet. He literally ran on EU integration. The only reason he didn't pursue it further was because the Ukrainian economy was taking a shit and Putin offered a bailout while the EU demanded austerity.
Regardless, the fundamental problem facing America/NATO/The West is that America is losing to China. The balance of power is shifting against us. European industry cannot compete when paying 4x more for gas/electricity. And Russia has proved NATO is a paper tiger whose guarantees mean nothing.
There is no doubt that Russia was damaged by this war. And there is no doubt that Russia hoped for a 3-day war. But what NAFO trannies will never understand is that this war isn't really about Russia. It's much much bigger than that.
