With the majority of the Seventh Universe united under the banner of the PTO, Emperor Cooler at its head, the universe has known a time of unrivaled peace. But in the shadows threats have been growing, nursing grudges against the PTO and the Saiyan race in particular. And now those threats are rising, stepping out of the shadows to openly challenge the established order. Seeking nothing short of the destruction of New Salda and the extinction of the entire Saiyan race, can you prevent this outcome? Or will the Saiyan race be reduced to nothing more than memories, their heroes nothing more than ink in the pages of the history books?

You the players will (most often) control Karn; wielder of the mighty Berserker Soul and hope of the entire PTO, not only the Saiyan race. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, only a few years into his time as a member of the PTO, he has grown in power and skill, overcoming the world-ending threats that have come for the Saiyans to become the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759. From the massive Covenant empire to demonic incursions, mad cultists to vengeful gods, none have been strong or clever enough to put down Karn for good. But will one man's power be enough to protect everyone from the rising threats? Or will death come from those who you least expect it from? Your choices may mean the difference between survival and extinction, so choose carefully.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Emerging from the Room of Spirit and Time to find their family under attack, Karn and Chaya immediately sprang into action. Besting the Zamasu on the Lookout, then on the Planet of the Kais, and finally on their own homeworld, New Salda. Where one of the Merged Zamasu revealed it had obtained a new power, the Stand Lyin' Eyes Requiem. Karn battled the Stand, fighting his best but being driven to the point of defeat. Where Divine Dragon Force revealed the power it had claimed from Super Shenron, changing to a brilliant gold. And with a wish from Karn taking LER's power for itself. Ending the rest of the threat, then the Time Patrol arrived to mop up the remnants. But as we rejoin Karn, you've had a revelation: your Dark Side lightning fried whatever mechanical and electronic parasites the Tuffle bastard had put into your friend Leyas, freeing him from his control!

“Wait wait wait, hold on. Did your lightning just...?” she asks, then immediately turns back to Bardock. Who she sees is back in his base form, lowering her hands. Her scars, glowing blue with charging lightning begin to fade back away. “No, he can't take that much power. Not in his base form. Dammit, we have to wait until he's up.”
“Hold on. How do we know you're really free? You could be pretending.” King Vegeta IV says, brows furrowed. Bringing up a solid point. Is this REALLY Leyas? Or is he still under that bastard's control, and just pretending?
“Uhhh, wait. You're right.” Leyas says, brows furrowing. But if I dunno if I'm under control, how will you guys?”

Suddenly, an idea comes to mind. Because you know someone who was at that same scene they were, yet has overcome the Tuffle parasite's controlling bots and destroyed them. You turn to Chaya, expression hopeful.

“Chaya. Remember what you told me, about how those nanobots felt inside you? When you fled Raditz the first time?” you ask her, your daughter's eyes widening in understanding. “Do you think you could do the same with them?”
“I can most certainly try.” she says, with a sigh powering down. Down to her Super Saiyan God form, surprisingly enough as she walks over to your friend. “May I?”
“Of course! Just tell me what I need to do.” he says, Chaya reaching over and placing her palm on his forehead as he sits there. Her eyes close, brow furrowing slightly as her divine, fiery aura blazes up around her. It then engulfs him as well, wrapping around his entire form. Everyone stops and watches this, even the remaining Zamasu and the Time Patrollers as Chaya's aura begins to die down. The inferno of divine power retreating from Leyas' body, leaving him wide-eyed, as if he's had a revelation. “Woah...”

“Well, good news! I couldn't find any inside you!” she declares, Leyas's expression brightening. But Chaya's doesn't instead she glances to the unconscious Bardock, who's no doubt still full of the mind-controlling machines. “However, just to be safe, I'm going to test Bardock. If I find them inside him, I'll know you're free. But if not...”

Her voice trails off, everyone knowing the implication of her words. Leyas, also clearly understanding nods too, glancing from her to you. Chaya takes a deep breath, then as she starts walking forward suddenly your mother acts.

“God Bind.” she calls, reaching out towards Bardock's unconscious form. Seemingly creating an Energy Body around him with her beyond Blue power, encasing his body in her ki. Preventing him from moving and possibly trying to attack your daughter, should he wake. Chaya turns to her, nods once then closes the rest of the way. Reaching down towards his neck, your wife opening her ki just enough for Chaya to reach through, pressing her hand to the back of his neck.Once more her divine aura blazes around her, and then engulfing Bardock as well. Inside both Chaya's fiery SSG aura and Meloka's deeper, darker beyond Blue power's aura, his body becomes completely obscured. However, after a moment Meloka's ki around him vanishes, as does your wife. Even the remaining Time Patrollers, Ace, Trunks, and Future Chaya look confused, and even a little worried. Then, a second later your wife returns. With none other than Koriand'r, face streaked with tears as she cries. Your wife holding the much taller woman a bit awkwardly as the former Tamaranean princess sobs against your wife.

You're worried something's happened, something terrible while you were away. But while Kori's here, she doesn't seem like she's going to be able to talk anytime soon. So, you reach out, desperately thinking out to your eldest son.

“BROLY!!?” your thoughts burst forth into the void, seeking his mind, his thoughts. It's been over a year since you've seen him, even though you know only a day passed for him, and you're missing your son incredibly. But as you reach out, suddenly you feel something else. Another presence in your mind, one you don't recognize between your mind and your son's. “BROLY!”
“Broly's no longer home, monkey.” comes the familiar voice of the Tuffle in your mind, your teeth grinding as it taunts you. “You boy's MINE now, and there's nothing you can do-”
“OUT OF MY WAY!” your mind roars, Berserker Soul blazing around you as you fully tap into the Dark Side. Diving fully into the hate, the rage, mixing it with the Berserker Soul's wrath as you project your thoughts like a battering ram. Smashing through the thoughts of that creature, finally feeling your son's mind seemingly waking up. As if the Tuffle had made his own mind go dormant. “Broly.”

“Dad? Wha...?” he replies, voice trailing off as the darkness of the Tuffle closes in again, but with a snarl blow it away again. Keeping it from coming between you and your son.
“Broly. We're going to save you. Tell me what happened.” you think. Broly immediately tells you he'd come under attack by two Saiyans he didn't recognize, Primal Saiyans. Probably the other two in Leyas' squad, as a Kai had teleported them onto his ship. How he beat them, only for that bastard Zamasu to come back with RADITZ, with the Tuffle parasite wielding his body as his own.
“As soon as he appeared, I, I told Kori to flee while I kept that bastard distracted. To fly as far away as possible, and keep reaching out to Mom until she- Wait, where's Kori? Is Kori okay?” he asks, voice a desperate plea. You feeling the despair in his soul, desperate to have his wife and unborn child avoid those same fates as Raditz' wife and unborn child. “Please, please tell me-!”

“She's here, they're fine.” you tell him, feeling both Kori and their unborn child's ki as the rest of the Time Patrol leave, leaving Future Chaya and Ace behind. “They're okay.”
“Good. Then it was. Worth it.” your son answers, you sensing his smile as he stops resisting, stops fighting the power creeping back into his mind trying to sever the link. “Tell Kori. I love her.”

And the link severs, the Tuffle subduing your son's mind fully once more.

“Broly's been taken.” you say, your son's mind freezing. Feeling the lockup as his mind starts running a million miles a second. “While the Zamasu were everywhere, one brought the other two Saiyans to Broly's ship, and when he beat them it brought Raditz there. Kori's safe, but Broly's lost.”

“...Dammit.” your son answers. “So, what's the plan? How are we saving him?”
“I don't know. But what I DO know, is that tomorrow, Chaya's killing this bastard.” you reply. “And when she kills him, and all those people are freed, she can save them from the parasite's remains. As she's doing with Leyas, Sarada, and Bardock now.”
“I see. Have you reached out to King Cold yet, to let him know?” he asks.
“No, but we should.” you answer. “Thanks for the reminder, I'll see what he says. And tell the family I said hello, I'm back.”
“I will. Good luck, Dad.” he answers, ending the mental link. You immediately turning your mind to King Cold, reaching out to him.

“We have a problem.” you think to the emperor of the universe's father. “Broly's been captured.”
“We have another problem. Namek's under attack.” he answers, your eyes widening in shock. “I thought your son showing up was to HELP, but if he's been taken, we're in even more trouble. Aku told mere there are several warriors who showed up, not the Saiyans. Well, they are Saiyans, but not quite.”
“Not quite?” you reply, a sinking feeling in your guts. Immediately fearing the worst. “Shit.

“I need you both to be here in my place, make sure everyone's healed up nice and strong, okay?”
“OKAY!” they both shout as Chaya's aura withdraws from Bardock, her expression grim.

“I'll take care of Sarada here, then I'll join you.” she says, only to be interrupted by Leyas.
“Then WE'll join you.” he corrects, looking down at his sleeping sister. “Both of us.”
“We'll handle things here, go.” King Vegeta says, his expression serious as everyone who's coming with you grabs on. The king no doubt piecing together events from your shout, to Kori's appearance. “Go and get your son back.”

You and he share a nod as you raise your right hand to your forehead, reaching out telepathically while Future Chaya and Ace reach out, both laying their hands on you all to go too. Their help could prove instrumental.

“Grand Elder Guru, I'm on my way with reinforcements.” you think to Namek's leader, focusing on his ki through the mental link. And the moment you feel his mind reaching to yours you teleport. One moment you're on New Salda, the next you're outside Grand Elder Guru's home. And a massive green energy blast is blazing down right at you all. “HAAAAAAAA!!”

With a roar you throw your right hand forward, unleashing a massive wave of ki forward. Your energy crashes into the descending attack, recognizing Broly's Event Horizon as your wave stops it. Halting his massive sphere, clearly aimed at destroying Guru and erasing the Dragon Balls completely. As their effect is tied to his life, should he die they'll cease to function as well. You push the attack back, further and further until suddenly your energy destablizes it. The attack detonating in a massive, fiery blast. Your beam ends, you lowering your hand as the smoke clears. Seeing your son, Broly, at full power in his Primal form. Snarling in rage, yet as he does there's an explosion from down below. Shooting a glance you see a village go up in flames, sensing several dozen Namekians perishing all at once. Catching a glimpse of the now hated, familiar Rosé aura. Looks like this world is under attack as well.

“Good luck.” Caulifla says, before taking off down towards that village below.
“You got this!” Junior says, your eyes going wide as you turn to see your youngest has also come along for the ride.

“Junior? What-?” you start to ask only for Broly to roar, aura blazing. You turn your full focus back to him as he charges, dashing straight down at you with his right drawn back. However his aura, once blazing immediately condenses around him into his Energy Body. Which will make things... Complicated. You're going to have to crack that armor before your Sith Lightning can erase those machines inside him. “Stay back!”
“DIE! SIMIAN!!” Broly roars in a voice that isn't wholly his own, swinging his Energy Body-clad right fist down at you. Aura blazing, you condense your aura back into your own shielding ki then weave the punch. Letting his fist soar over your left shoulder as you twist, driving your left up into his guts. Slamming your full power punch up into his guts. “Grrrrr!”

“Get OUT OF MY SON!” you roar, following the left to his ribs with a heavy right cross to the jaw. Staggering Broly back even through his armor, as you launch into a ferocious assault. Unleashing the full power of your Djem So technique, landing heavy strike after heavy strike. Broly tries to get his guard up, but with your technique, speed, and power, he can't defend. Your attacks blow his guard open and land heavy shots, when he tries to counterattack you deflect his strikes and retaliate with powerful counters. For over a minute you continue to land heavy blow after heavy blow, landing more and more unanswered strikes against his armor. Yet, as you do, you can't break his guard. Until he roars, unleashing a technique you've never seen before.
“HAAAAAAAAAA!!” the Tuffle roars, expanding his Energy Body out from his body. Transforming it from a skintight shield into a sphere of defensive ki, forming a solid barrier that physically pushes you back from him. And even slamming a heavy right into it, you don't so much as crack it. “Tch, haaah. Haaaah, haaaah. Grrrr! You damned ape. Why can't I hit you?!”

“Because you're not my son. He's a lot stronger and faster than you are.” you reply, taking your fighting stance. “You may have his body, but you have no idea how to fight with it.”

“Hmph. Perhaps. But I can do something else.” he says with a grin. “I don't know why Broly has such a tight leash on this power, refusing to let it out. But you can clearly handle it, so he should be able to as well.”
“What? What are you doing?” you ask, suddenly getting a terrible feeling in your guts. Something's wrong, something's terribly, terribly wrong. The black sky, thanks to Aku overhead shielding the planet suddenly becomes a lot darker, as the emerald sphere around Broly begins to glow brighter and brighter. You feel his power surging, the sphere shattering as his power explodes.

“SHYAAAAAAAAA!” the Tuffle's voice shouts through Broly's own as your son's power skyrockets.
“GRYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” his body screams, a sound of pain. You can feel the agony in his voice, in the way he begins thrashing wildly, consumed by whatever Baby's doing to him! You have to stop this, now!
“HAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, throwing both hands forward and unleashing a storm of Sith Lightning. Only for your arcing currents to not even reach him, blown away by his surging power. Your attack can't even reach him as his entire body in his Primal form begins glowing from within, brighter and brighter emerald until, with a final roar of pain his body explodes into blinding emerald light. You brace yourself, reflexively reactivating your Energy Body as everything is consumed by the searing light. Remember, when you chose which path to go down, your options were to focus on the Berserker Soul and go big green, or go down the primal path and possibly achieve normal Apex while shunning the Berserker power. This is a form that, to control requires mastery over BOTH paths. Else, you get what we're fighting now, a rampaging monster no wife "Karn, it's me" could have snapped you out of. If you want the Berserker Apex form, though, you're halfway there. But living on a prayer, with Broly attacking you like this.

“COME ON!” you roar, powering up your Energy Body further as you take your fighting stance. You know that if you drop your shield, this could get ugly, fast. You have to keep his focus on you, and not let a monster this powerful rampage wildly.
“GWROOOOOAAAAAAAAAR!!” he roars, and before you can even process what's happened he's closed the distance. Right fist slammed into your jaw, snapping your head back. Even through your Energy Body, that hit like a train. If you didn't have your Energy Body up, his attack probably would have just taken your head off! “RRRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

For the next several seconds, everything's a blur. Heavy, dull pain floods through your Energy Body, seeping into your bones as each galaxy-shattering strike lands true. But your Energy Body continues to mitigate the damage, as much as it can through such a severe power gap. However, thanks to your time training with Chaya's x10 Kaio-Ken when you'd spar her occasionally in that form, you begin to adjust to his blinding speed. His attacks are relentless, but thankfully with so much power you can't simply be knocked around in one place. With his might, each blow sends you flying back as he roars, swinging his fists into you over and over. Knocking you all the way around the planet, nearly missing the tall plateau Guru's home is on as you're sent flying back once more. Chest heaving, gasping for air as he charges in again, not slowing down.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, heavily telegraphing his next heavy swing. You bring your arms up, bracing yourself, and block the hit. You can't absorb the blow, the force of his punch still sending you flying back like the others. But you reacted. You're adjusting to his speed. You can see him coming, can react to his attacks. Which means you can fight him.
“Come on!” you shout, retaking your fighting stance. “Is that all you've got?!”
“HRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, exploding towards you through the air again. You see him coming with a wild right lariat. You bring both arms up vertical, parallel as you start flipping backwards. And nearly get under it, his forearm smashing into the upper halves of yours and knocking you spinning down towards the ground. Tumbling head over tail, then flipping and landing on all fours. The instant you do you leap back, pushing back and away. Narrowly dodging Broly's flying stomp, a blow that would have pinned you down to the ground. But he sees you dodge, swinging a left uppercut into your guts as you spring back. His fist landing true, again sending you soaring back into the sky. The heavy blow winding you, your Energy Body fading. Shit, this isn't good!

The blow stunned you, you can't move, can't breathe. So, you do the only thing you can do, pouring more and more energy into your Energy Body, converting it into your Unmovable Energy Body. Only for Broly to charge back in, but this time not swinging a fist at you. No, this time he flies up, grabbing your head in his right hand and your ankles in his left. And he begins to pull. Despite being unmovable, Broly moves your armored body, stretching you out. And he doesn't stop, continuing to pull. As if he's trying to rip you apart, you feeling your ki begin to stretch, straining it to its limits. You'd never tried to use your Energy Body to withstand getting PULLED apart, and it seems you've discovered a new weakness.

But it's one hell of a time to discover this, you need an out. Or your son's going to tear you clean in two. So, you focus, focus your ki sense entirely on Broly. You've only got one chance, if you mess this up he's going to kill you. And so you focus, and right as you feel your Energy Body break, to shatter, you use your Instant Transmission. In the instant he's not got a hand on you you teleport, vanishing and appearing behind him. Immediately trying to reactivate your armor, to defend yourself against his wild power. But Broly whirls furiously, clearly angry he can't kill you, and seeing you above him he snaps. Snaps further. His energy explodes from him in an unstoppable, implacable wave of destruction, his energy slamming into you.

“GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!” you roar as his energy slams into and through you, before you'd been able to activate your Energy Body again. His tremendous power consumes you, tearing you apart. Yet, you don't surrender. This isn't how you go out, you can't fail here! You WON'T fail here! Gritting you teeth, you draw upon everything you've got, and push back. Drawing out every ounce of strength in the Berserker Soul, in your body, all your determination to resist this! “HRRRRAAAAAAAAAA! HAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Your power blazes, but it's not enough. Pushing yourself to the absolute limit, you can't stop him! But you can't stop either, you need more! More!!

“HRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, giving it everything you've got, until something inside you, unable to withstand the pressure, snaps. And everything goes white.
