in my medical terminology class they did bring up a club that would be very helpful apparently i do want to be a vet or something

hello everyone! im kinda new here so sorry if i dont rly know how this works, ive been lurking these posts for a bit tho (while getting the courage to say something), basically, i got out of a psych ward recently and i told everyone i dont have bad thoughts just to get out but... i still do :C

i couldnt do anything, i couldnt get out of bed and i felt miserable so i made an attempt :c

well... when i got out my boyfriend broke up with me and i feel extremely lonely so i think i got out of there worse than when i came in

i see. sounds like a bad depression. it was pretty much the same for me a decade ago, but i'm way better now. what i always recommend is getting your vitamin levels checked. it helped me realize that depression can have some very physical causes that i can influence and it helped me take action to get better. did you ever talk to anyone about it?

sorry to hear that. guess he couldn't handle the situation, but that's still very incobsiderate of him. you're always welcome to hang out with us and talk about what's going on with you. i know it's not much, but i hope it helps at least a little bit.

i have to admit that i've been playing since the original red and blue and never finished a single pokedex... i should rectify that some day.

i had a good time with those too, but the pokemon formula is just so comfy and nostalgic it's hard not to like those games. i do think people have a point, though. there's just a lot of things they could do to make the games better.

today was way better than yesterday. i guess being that close to a mental breakdown is cathartic in it's own way. and some issues at work also got solved. that also was a big relief. now i'm just lying in bed, thinking about what i could listen to.

that's as good of a reason as any other. here you only get to learn english, french and (if you're lucky) maybe latin and spanish. that's about it. dutch would have been a nice addition. at least in my area. i live right next to the border. today a young girl told me a lot about her banana milk while i was stuck behind her on the escalator, but i didn't understand what exactly she wanted to tell me. maybe i should put in the effort and try to finally learn that language.

Terrible day today. Trying to work through it.

um is it wrong to be attracted to girls with self harm scars? I mean to be fair only girls with self harm scars were ever interested in me so now I'm attracted to those kinds of girls, they are always so easy to talk to, but it feels kind of insensitive even if I'm not trying to be insensitive about it, it's more like I can relate with them

They want to send me to hospital and i said no but now idk if i should have gone but i feel like i would regret it like it would put my life more in chaos i just cant believe them that it would help me i think it would just make things worse for me they freak out so much over some little cuts and wont listen to me im worried they will keep me there and take away my control of my life but maybe if i go i can benefit from some treatment maybe they are right and im wrong and need help im stuck i dont know what to do and want to forget about all of it

it's a tough decision. on the one hand i think modern medicine can keep you alive, but won't cure you. on the other, it might give you the support and initial push to overcome whatever keeps you from getting better right now. maybe look into your rights as a patient so you don't consent to anything you'll regret later?
