>i only eat one meal a day, and this is the meal i eat.
fair enough.

>i'm skinnyfat, and i want to be a bit bigger
ah, i get you. and i wasn't talking about the amount, but the variety.

>nobody > nobody 2
i haven't watched either, but i heard they're competent action films. maybe i'll give them a try one day.

>ballerina is awesome. the action sequences are so fucking good. absolute kino.
i don't think i've heard about that one before. what's it about? and since you like action movies, ever seen the raid or dredd?

>just rewatching youtube videos i've already seen
at least you know what you get. can be worth a lot, depending on your mood.

>it's not your fault...right?
you never know... (>.>)

>i've only talked like a maximum of one hour last week to my family. there's no malice, just distance.
stuff like that happens. maybe you'll get closer again at some point, but i guess your not in the right state of mind for that right now. it's ok, though.

>like i said, i don't have their contact info.
that's too bad. well, only thing you can do is wait and see.

>although it's easier to talk to online strangers than it is to talk to people you know irl.
true, but i tried talking to people irl and i can't say that it makes a huge difference or changes anything long term, at least in my experience. i'd rather talk to you guys.

>ONE OF US.
and that by choice. this is the only community i've ever been a part of.

>and the like.
best of luck o7

>that was part of the reason why i wanted to take a break.
good idea. you seem well prepared.

>my friend seemed more bothered by it than me.
hope it won't bother them for a long time. at least you can support each other in that regard.

>I guess it just shows who I need to avoid more in the future
it's the best you can do. no use arguing with people like that.

>I don't think they'd appreciate me beating the brakes off one of their loved ones.
probably not. ^^' glad you were able to restrain yourself.

>I'm gonna finish a movie I was watching
which one?

>but the game is so laughably shit which ruined it for me.
that would ruin it for most people, i'd say. anything that annoyed you in particular?

>I'm a huge fan of anything with the Mad Max vibe. I wonder if there are any games that could capture that in a good way
hm. the original fallout games or the spiritual successor games? i think they are called wasteland. death thrash comes to mind. or does it have to be a shooter?

>been getting into dark fantasy again
it's cool. probably my favorite kind of setting.

>Got a pretty big headache
make sure to rest well and drink lots of water.

>I'll make as much money as I can.
don't overwork yourself. money is nice, but not everything. doesn't hurt to have it, though...

>Just classes and work I guess
both bothersome by design. :<

>same
shame :/

good evening! what were you up to today?

>>82109589
yeah. i'm done with summer as well. looking forward to fall.

>Maybe if if was one of those people who didn't care
do you think you'll ever stop caring?

>Secrecy above all.
if you want to keep it a secret, that's fine. nobody decides how you feel about it other than you.

>and who's gonna pay for a kindle version of a manga?
if i pay, i'd rather pay for the the physical books. maybe if the prices were really competetive i'd think about it. at the moment i'm just checking out the things i might want to buy. last time i bought a book blind i ended up regretting it. :/ i wonder why it is so hard for other entertainment industries to come up with a similar distribution system like the one the music industry agreed upon. in the end, convenience trumps all and atm pirating is just way more convenient for the stuff i want to consume.

>I'm on overtime as is and I was really tired this morning.
i see. enjoy your chill day.

>It has some surprisingly good character ideas and detective work.
agreed. at least i'm intrigued enough that i want to know where it'll go.

>the cape is wacky but I kind of like it.
if a grappling hook is ok, i suppose this is too. which is my reaction to most of the changes and ideas. just shrug and roll with it. not sure what bat has back-spikes, though.

>It's a weird balance.
true. lots of body-horror in this one. ever read "the doom that came to gotham"? it's been a while, but i remember liking it. then again, i really enjoy hellboy, so a batman comic by mike mignola wasn't a hard sell. ^^ for something different but kinda adjacent, i'd recommend "the marquis".

>I still file like the best batman media is the penguin show because it takes the mob politics seriously and makes it just as important as the super villain.
i can see that, but i couldn't convince myself to watch it yet. call me weird, but i like batman in my batman shows. i think for me the most definitive version of the characters is still btas. you can always give me those and i won't complain. also my favorite portrayel of gotham to this day.

hi meowster! :>

>how is everyone doing today?
this day was a bit of a downer, but whatever. time to sleep soon anyway. what about you? everything ok? hope your feet don't hurt that badly anymore.
