I have a really funny idea that I've been mulling over for a long time. Just implement the US Constitution as a digital contract. As a prank. People could use it to simulate the US government in real-time, run their own municipal governments, parallel governments, D&D in-game governments, or any government they choose in any region if they fork it and modify it. To avoid legal issues, don't collect taxes in a parallel government, but nothing would stop you from fulfilling services via private contract. Just a prank, bro.

People also conveniently forgot that Bushy Jr. started a $5 trillion war that solved nothing, earned us nothing, and killed 400k civilians making all of Islam hate the west forever.

We could start a Martian colony with that much money. Or make public schools world-class and free. Or build new modern cities with modern infrastructure, instead of the same shit we've had since 1930. Instead it's just gone. Poof.

Trump is a crass buffoon, but he hasn't even touched Bush's evil. Not even in the same ballpark.

I said, "Not making kids spend money on notebooks, pencils, and food would really improve outcomes." Prove me wrong. Nutrition improves brains. So does taking notes. Simply end the waste and enumerate school supplies and nutrition as children's rights.

This gay graph again. The American public education system is oriented towards a "Support All Learner" policy not really about producing ubermensch supergeniuses. Net enrollment rates have increased, graduation rate is at an all time high, dropout rates decreased from 15 to 6 percent in 1970, dropout rate for Black youth declined from 21% to 6%, dropout rate for Hispanic youth declined from 36% to 9%, while maintaining more or less standard test scores so yes while far from being perfect, it has been improving on outcomes in which the public education system is designed for

NCLB's solution to the lagging public schools, usually because they're financially stretched thin, was to deprive them of resources even further and instead give the students vouchers to move out of public education.

I don't agree with Teachers Unions. We shouldn't try pumping more money into failed school and retaining bad teachers. We should let schools fail like we let businesses fail. Vouchers allow more competition. Forcing people in a zip code to send their kids to a school because of where they live is central planning, giving kids vouchers so parents can choose where their kids go, and schools face market pressures of competition is a good thing
