The difference is mainly in how things are perceived. One person's practice is another person's play. A person that enjoys team sports doesn't treat it like just a grind, it's more than just an obligation. That doesn't mean you can't practice and get good at something you don't like or care about, but it's much more of an uphill battle compared to just naturally liking something in the first place.

I'd say life can be pretty effortless actually.
If you're doing things for fun, or even effortlessly doing the same thing without thinking, those can fall into the idea of training but it is possible to just pick things up easily.
Development of various skills is a matter of talent for some and others more hard work, and some people never develop at all even when they put their soul into it, never having the lessons stick or executed in any degree of skill or even developing skill. Some even regress the further they go somehow.
Humans are just good at different things. Some are just good at "nothing" too. Some humans are good at love, others suck at it. It just happens, with or without effort.

For me it was slightly different. I come from a very conservative family and country so the expectation was that my parents would find someone for me to marry once I got a job.
