>still better than any actual chores
can't argue with that. :>
>the way they characters are shaded looks sorta strange reminds me more of a video game than animation of that makes sense
it does and i see it as well. it just looks lile someone took assets from a game and made an animation with them.
>I prefer the way older animes look like though that's probably also because I mostly watch older ones
when i saw some people praise it today it got me thinking. maybe it's just a generational thing. if you had access/have watched the old stuff growing up, this won't do much for you, but if you come from youtube animations, this might be actually be a step up. might be completely off mark here. i just got know clue and try to make sense of it.

>idk how I feel about that style. Bit off putting for me. Gives me video game models vibes
how i see it as well. a lot of people give the show shit for the redesigns, but i don't even mind them that much. i'm just stuck on the animation. here's the intro of the old show for comparison. i probably linked it before, but whatever. i didn't even like that show, but at least it looks like one. ^^

>Those are the worst kind of problems to be stuck on. And I don't how much I can say to give encouragement here.
just acknowleding it is enough. i don't think you can do much to motivate me when i'm in that state of mind anyway. :/
>Always time for things to change, regardless how impossible it seems.
i suppose so. it's just hard to tackle the outside stuff when you're still stuck with fighting to fix yourself.
>Maybe not always in way you want or expect, but not always a bad thing either.
true, though at this point i'm just hoping for a major catastrophe to fuck everything up. might not be around to profit from it, but at least it would change things up again.
