I also don't actively seek out girls to interact with. I'm 99% sure, even though I'm like average in looks, I could secure a girl in a week if I tried. My standards are also just "take care of yourself and be nice". But instead, when faced with a confrontation, I put on my schizoid max polite and mechanical talk so it goes by quick and I can get back to my cave.

We are just wired this way.
