Tall women
What do men think about tall women or women as tall as them? How do they register to your brain and feelings compared to short or average women?

To add some more context, I had a dream where I was a man and I had 2 women with me. One woman was roughly my height (she was tall) and it felt kind of like equal and friend-like. The other woman was very short and feeling her like tinier body in contrast to mine felt pretty hot and primal.

Then I woke up. I'm a straight fem btw. Just want to know how men feel.

I'm tall and I find tall women very attractive. But I like to date alpha female types who are leaders to other women. And I'm autistic so I think about genes and if we have sons. I don't think of talk women as peers or friends I feel an urge to dominate them and the challenge sounds fun.

I'm a bit over 6' tall, live in the upper midwest (lots of tall people), and most of my early girlfriends were tall. One was 5'9" and another was 5'11". They didn't register as being more like a friend than the short women who I've dated. I pursued them because I found them attractive and liked their personalities. Friendship developed naturally as we got to know each other.

I have dated 2 short women. One was 5'2" and I got along great with her as a friend.

I've also been thinking that it could be nice to be with someone who's exactly the same height, so we could look straight into each other's eyes. Feels like it'd be romantic, perhaps.

of course, it's a balance, not a flatline
one tugs from one end, the other tugs from the other, it's great, man
i've never got into a relationship but i know that's definitely one of the things i'd want there

>How in the world does a "healthy" relationship have such a dynamic?
in their defense, some people naturally lean toward one side a bit much, and they need the opposite to even the scales and balance it out
in my case (and yours too i imagine), there's no leaning to either side much, so to keep the balance, i (we?)'d need someone elsewho also doesn't lean toward either one

there are a bunch of other factors that play into having a "healthy" relationship, but yeah...
i just know it isn't for me to be under someone else's thumb (i'm averse to control) nor do i like to take the reins of someone else for too long either (i'm much too nurturing for that)

now, if only you were close to me, i'd start bombarding you with other questions about all sorts of topics to try and get to know you better, kek

Ok that part of agree with. But at the same time I feel like it's something we are socialised into (especially women). In the case of women, I would say that we are told that we should be weak. Not that being submissive is necessarily weak, but I think that the reason so many women feel the need to have a taller dude is due to this idea that we can't or shouldn't be strong or independent. We are told to play damsel in distress. We are told that some man is going to do it all, even the things that he doesn't know to do. (I think thats why alot of women dont communicate their desires and need and thus they end up resenting their man). But there is no prince in shining armour. There are people who happen to have a penis. I do agree one has to balance things out, but I think its starts in the cradle. Teaching kids that this is not a fairy tale, but that this is life. You don't meet characters you meet people.

I personally prefer roughly equal (+-2") height and don't particularly mind anyone taller either. Them "feeling" more equal is definitely true, not to tear down short women or anything since I don't discriminate based on height.
With most women, especially on the shorter end, the implicit societal pressure to assist and protect them due to being seen as "vulnerable" is a bit of a barrier to feeling equal. I don't mind helping anyone out with anything, I'm even happy to do it for the most part, but it does feel liberating not having that pressure of obligation, which does make it easier to relax around them and be friends, partners or whatever.
Being closer to the height that infrastructure is built around is a benefit too, not to mention not being perceived as an easy victim, which makes it easier not to worry about someone if they are alone somewhere.
I guess some extra body weight isn't quite as visible either which is nice. This is anecdotal but tall women also seem to be either more chill on average or absolute bitches, the latter of which are pretty easy to not associate with though due to wearing it on their sleeves.
I'm not into very short women myself so I'm not quite objective there and do have my own preferences, but I'm not into the entire size gap thing and find it pretty awkward. And as for relationships i'd be looking explicity for an equal partner and not a glorified super high maintenance pet.
Just my two cents from an average height, non sociopathic yuro perspective though.

>I feel like it's something we are socialised into
hmm... hard to disagree with that, gender roles and stuff do play a part in shaping a person's mind
good point, but then again i'm not sure such conditioning can be broken once established, maybe through some discoveries but as for how to get to them, well... not so straightforward

the lack of communication is also a problem, communication is the lifeline of any relationship after all, but sometimes it's hard to talk
on the guys' side, there's also that stigma that if you talk about your feelings or admit not being able to do something, you may be ostracized for it, so there's this pressure to "man up" and tough it out
man... i wish people could just be themselves, but it's not so simple

>I think its starts in the cradle.
yeah
if i ever have kids (i want a daughter in the future, as unlikely as that may seem, on that note), i'm going to teach them to be themselves and do what makes them happy

Word. I dont even think the idea of men "doing it all" has any evolutionary benefit. It just doesn't make sense. Men are people to :'( . At least women CAN be weak. Men can't. Crazy. And society reinforces that too. I am not saying we can't have gender roles, but that much of what we think of as gender roles are straight bullshit. Like crying, being strong or physically active, having great aspirations ect. These are not gendered.

An attractive woman is an attractive woman. For me, there is no need to complicate it beyond that. Height is irrelevant as an individual trait, only being meaningful as part of the collective individual. Only insecure men would turn away a woman for being taller than him. I would not give a fuck; she'd be laying under my waist anyway. That said, the right side on the image is hotter because she's getting dominated and shown her place.

Get out there anon! You need to get out of your comfort zone dude. You say you like cycling eh? Go to a cycling club. You like vidya? Find peoplw to play with physically. I know that in our isolated world where making a friend after college seems impossible its easy to just stay inside. But trust me when i say that you meet people in the weirdest and wackiest ways. Though I might be the one to give much advice because i dont have many friends either, but honestly it's because i am picky with who i want around.

>don't be too excited, independence comes with responsibility and those are not fun, kek
I dont doubt it. My gap year life is kicking my ass. But i cant wait to get out there. I never did much in my teens. Never went to parties and i dont do drugs/drink. I was never interested i cant lie, and if i went to parties i would probably be pressured into it. But once i move out i can just indulge in my own interests and not give a shit about curfews.

>seriously though have you ever played oneshot?

Thats a great start. But check out libraries and universities and colleges and all the free seminars they got. Love those. You said you freeze when talking? I'll tell you what there are so many lonely old people there, they are so easy to talk to. And they are so helpful too. I love old folks. You got to go out though anon. Humans are social, and we need physical contact. Go to libraries, gyms, parks... JUST GO OUT OK?? Trust me it's a game changer. Honestly it worries me that you dont go out. It's a slippery slope from that point. And no I wont be out suuuper late. I just go to libraries and universities and parks and walk around, take pictures. But I want the freedom to do whatever.

Dude going out is not just good because of other people being around. Getting fresh air is amazing for you. You should take up photography as a hobby, it helps you get out. PLEASE GET OUT. I rarely go out with people. I like to look around and see people living their lives, i would take pictures of them but thats creepy so i don't. I wish I could tho. But going out helps because it's unpredictable and creates an environment where you can think. I like listening to music but i like thinking better. When you go out alone, you could do the things you do at home, just in a new setting. And that new setting really helps alright.

>do your folks make you come back by 5 pm or something?
Yeah basically. They are scared because im a girl, but i am a 6ft one at that. I bet I'd look more intimidating than most men if i dressed in roadman clothes.

>how's your self-image like?
I am very self critical. I want to be the best me, but i am not soft on myself. I replay my mistakes alot, and i struggle with being kind to myself. But i try. I like to say 3 thing i did well every day. It helps. I dont like myself alot either. But i like myself better than before. I like to run and take long multiple-step showers to help myself feel better. Cleaning my room, making good food. It helps me feel good. Going out and just walking helps me too. Fucking love walking. i like the people here, they keep me good company, i mean you're here aren't you?
>I will tel you to also not be here. I'm quitting myself.
it's... complicated
if you can get out then do it, but i feel right at home here
it sucks, has a lot of negativity, overall inhospitable but... pic related, that's me

thank you for talking to me today
feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk more, as i said i'm here forever :^)
sweet dreams, anon

wait until you find out how fat girls feel about guys who like fat girls. heres how it works
>foundational belief that they are disgusting
>if you think they are not disgusting, you are a fucked up freak
>the only men they can respect and love genuinely are men who agree with their foundational belief that they are disgusting
