Replaying Portal 2 und RDR2 and can’t believe how much time has passed

The game was bland and barebones and at the same time the story dragged on for way too long

The only redeeming part was the „hordes mechanism“, but otherwise it was a pretty empty openworld sandbox

When was the point where you realized how great this game is ?

Because I’m 1/3rd in and about to drop it because the Mario RPG gameplay is meh
