Considering the bulk of market growth the last ten years has come from tech it seems stupid to invest in a fund that completely excludes it. It's not like this will ever turn around. Oil and Health Care will continue to get squeezed by governments. Finance is actually a good sector right now I guess but it already pivoted from that right before the run up last year. Are consumer staples ever going to be good investments again in this age of inflation and devalued currency? How much can you really charge for a can of Pepsi?
Dividends are a midwit trap it's like all the boomers coping on at AT&T message boards ten years ago that they don't care if the share price is down 80% their dividend keeps coming to pay for their time share in Hilton Head. Don't sacrifice 5% a year because it feels good to get a dividend.
