>About his owner:
>He travelled to America after a vacancy opened up in a Thoroughbred Association’s study tour and participated in the Keeneland sales, where Shill was on sale and pregnant with Maruzensky. Hashimoto decided to bid for her and eventually won the bid against a French trainer at the price of $300,000.
>A magazine after he bought Shill: “Mr. Hashimoto, a famous Japanese cattle dealer, has bought an incredibly expensive horse. Apparently, he has gone crazy.”
>Shill later gave birth to Maruzensky in Japan, where his pedigree was so stacked, it was very strange to see him in Japanese horse racing at the time.
>In-Game? She is technically a gyaru but her phrases and mannerisms are super outdated. Phrases like “チョーベリグー” used to be trendy and modern in the 1970s but she doesn’t seem to want to give them up. Gets pouty if you say she’s more like an old lady instead of a big sister.
>Also, the things she loves are considered very old fashioned - only aunties and grandmas would love them now.
>She is the oldest racehorse to be adapted into the game so far (not the oldest horse, that goes to one of the three goddesses).
>Currently has the most descendants in the game. With the addition of Special Week’s daughters, Maruzensky currently has the longest generational span in Uma Musume.
>His son Sakura Chiyono O,
>His grandsons Special Week, Mejiro Bright, Winning Ticket and Rice Shower,
>His great-granddaughters Cesario and Buena Vista,
>His great-great-granddaughter Curren Chan,
>And his great-great-great-granddaughter Daring Tact.

The Japanese rejecting Maruzensky from competing out of sheer fear isn't the own against Maru-Maru that you think it is. Rudolf couldn't even manage a single tour in America without coming back busted up and filled with PTSD.

Deep Impact isn't that old, he was born in the 2000's. Maruzenky meanwhile is from the 1970's. Tazuna (Tokino Minoru) is from the 1940's.
