Instead of making 2D assets for Disgaea RPG they could have spent that whole time making those 2D assets for regular games.
It's happening with SRW as well now.
Their shitty mobile game gets amazing animation and tons of cool units, even unique units and fun collabs, while their actual games are becoming slop.
I really don't understand the trend with Japanese companies where they're going full bore on mobile games and making their actual games slip.
