Well yeah thats true. I guess it can freak out both.
Point is that Kris panics outside of our influence, which is rare. And considering they are able to tank a Titan encounter without panicking I can only assume the obvious parallel between the two is what disturbed them. Also helps he seems notably more aware of certain things than a majority of the Darkners.
