MCH is in top form as always as Dexter and its clear they learned from the mistakes of New Blood and are making Resurrection more like the early seasons. Angel going after Dexter is a good plot thread that I pray they dont shit the bed with. Im cautiously optimistic about the serial killer club hes joining as it could be schlockino but could also very very easily be awful.
Harrison is a lot more likable this season but hes still a bit too much of a Gary Stu for me, his plot is at least somewhat interesting and im glad hes not just a mini-Dexter. The Will Graham wannabe female detective is a fucking awful character though and hopefully dies this season. Her headphones scene was insanely fucking cringe.
Theres also a bit too many plot conveniences for my liking which yeah Dexter has always had but it feels like we're getting 1-2 an episode which takes you out of it when the universe keeps twisting so the plot can happen.
As always with Dexter im cautiously optimistic.
