Ben Johnson probably fucked his career (at least for now) by holding firm with the Jags and insisting they fire Baalke, because that's a team that already has the pieces for him to turn it around and he probably could have gotten Baalke fired once he showed some success.
With the Bears extending Poles contract, it appears they have more faith in their GM (as incompetent as he is) than their new HC and the fact is that Caleb ain't no Trevor Lawrence, which means the Bears will continue to suck (though they'll do better this season) until Johnson and Poles are both shitcaned and Caleb is traded away by whoever comes in to rebuild the Bears (yet again).
It all starts with the owner and while Khan is a dumbass, he's not a meddler like the McCaskeys.
