A is correct but there is also the fact that portals do not follow proper physics so if you extrapolate A you'll get wrong results
The correct trajectory is whatever is convenient for the game to work
Basically it conserves momentum of the player relative to the floor, and yes this does not make sense but that's how it works

>the classes that are brain dead easy are often top performers (Ret Paladin) while classes that are complex are middle of the road or even outright bad
This is not true and I don't understand why people keep generalizing.
Arcane mage is an infamously difficult spec and it's top 3 DPS specs right now.
Enhancement shaman is considered by most veterans the hardest spec and it's top 10 specs.
Disc priest is the hardest healing spec and it's also the best and most popular one. Holy priest is the easiest and it's one of the worst healing specs and you will struggle to get a position in m+ if you are rolling one above +12.
I could also start listing many other easy specs that are awful but you get the memo. There is no clear pattern of "easy = good hard = bad". Some specs are good and others are bad regardless of their difficulty, it's just how the balancing goes. When a hard spec is good people learn it and it becomes the most popular one by fotm babies (see disc priest), when an easy spec is bad people still won't play it.

This sort of post proves that /v/ doesn't even play the fucking game and just parrots nonsense criticism because of POLITICS like there existing one (1) black character in the expansion.
If anything the problem with the game is that the catch-up gear is so powerful and free that it inflated m+.
I made a priest two days ago. TWO days ago. And it's already 650ilvl thanks to catch-up gear that I effortlessly claimed. For reference a +7 drops 652ilvl gear, with 650 I can easily do a +11 or +12 which drop 655 gear.
I guarantee that >95% of /v/tards do not have the capacity to do a +6, let alone a +12.
So yeah, complaining about catch-up gear being weak is retarded. It is more powerful than you would ever have the right to reach legitimately.
And you can get SO MUCH catch-up gear within one week. Like I said it's enough to fully gear one character per week.
And then retards like >>713384208 will complain about timegating. When the only thing timegated is the amount of catch-up gear you can get, and it is timegated super generously to the point you can easily gear up one character per week SOLELY FROM CATCH-UP GEAR (without legitimately acquiring even one single piece of gear from raids or dungeons).
For fucks sake. Right now the game gives you a maxed ilvl belt after a 10 minute questline. You can get a 658ilvl ring from a 30 minute questline. The rest of the slots can easily be acquired from: 1) 4 champion items from the 4 weekly bountiful delves, 2) 1 free champion item from nightfall, 3) one free heroic from the quest in front of the bank, 4) 3 free champion items from the three dastardly duos quests, 5) free heroic from delves bounty map, 6) time archive heroic.
Yes this is all the weekly timegated shit that you whine about, and as you can see if you do everything you have fully geared one character 70% champion 30% heroic WITHOUT EVEN TOUCHING A DUNGEON.
Seriously kill yourself retards you don't even play vidya
