Kris's voice sounding like it's "on speaker" because we're controlling them is different from OUR voice coming out of Kris's mouth (or getting beamed into her head) because WE are speaking to her directly
Noelle and Toriel notice that something's off with Kris in either route but it's only in Snowgrave that Noelle thinks the voice is "terrifying"

This is exactly what Noelle and Toriel and other people close to Kris and around town noted in Chapter 1 and 2. Kris is acting unusual. Kris seems unwell.
Even in the screenshot you posted, Noelle is saying "recently." She's not talking about how they changed years ago when they stopped being friends, she's talking about this week.
