Has to be either FRIEND or the Forgotten Man. The valentines letter that's probably from what I now 100% believe to be FRIEND mentions that there's a second entity without a name.

So is the forgotten man the one egg that left Noelles PC out of happiness?
She can't recall it's name, it disappeared without a trace, and apparently it wants to help someone but can't remember. But will know when its time.

>Within the Winter 2024 Deltarune Newsletter a series of digital valentines cards were emailed to fans. One of the cards, #39[4] is speculated to be from the Man due to the way the writer talks about forgetting being similar to the Man's dialogue in Chapter 3. Shortly after this was discovered, the letter was replaced with a blank one[5], keeping in line with the Man disappearing after you talk to him.

>The Man doesn't speak at all like Gaster.
While I agree that the Man and Gaster are different people I'll note that we haven't actually heard Gaster speak. All our communication could have just been through what is essentially Discord - if they can't talk out loud they can certainly type - and Gaster just types like a fucking weirdo.

I do believe that the Man is actually FRIEND, though, mostly because of the Cheshire Cat-ass valentines that seems to be from the same person. In the context of the "Mikes are FRIENDs puppets" theory, this makes what Motormouth Mike says very interesting:
>They call me motormouth because I NEVER stop talking! EVER! Hahaha!
>I'm sure you heard me. You did, didncha!?
>You can't tune me out, nosiree, yessiree!
>I'm always on the air, in the air, all around you, even within you!
Mike is "always talking, everywhere" even though they can't actually talk outside of MANCOUNTRY. What does that mean?

Well, I assume it's something like a driver or filetype incompatability. If they speak, the world can't parse what they're saying and it comes out like garbage noise...just like the garbage noise we hear on our phones, near the shelter, and the garbage noise on the other end of Spamton's phone. They're always talking, everywhere, and even if we can't understand them...we can still hear them.
