I'm a pretty big George apologist, but he was fucking retarded for fucking up the choreography in this scene. The stunt coordinator had spent months creating a massive fight which shows how crazy fast Palpatine is supposed to be, and how outmatched the Jedi were, but then a few days before filming George decides he wants Ian McDiarmid to do the fight himself, despite having had no training whatsoever.
