It will go the same way the opera, symphony orchestra and theater went. It will become a niche thing primarily enjoyed by old people and rich people.

Dont give her more acclaim than she deserves. She doesnt deserve to be remembered as anything other than a grifter that slept her way to prominence and accused people left and right which resulted in one suicide.

If it hadnt been Quinn, it would have been something else. The Tea Party movement laid the foundations for what would become MAGA and Qanon, the whole gamergate thing was just a funnel that pushed gullible zoomers into the hands of right wing and far right commentators (most of them grifters like Milo Yanapolis).
The whole Jordan Peterson, Brett Weinsten, Tim Pool debacle was also fuel on the fire alongside a heavy anti SJW sentiment that had been growing since the late 00's.

It was alot of things that made the MAGA movement happen, the biggest culprit probably being 2 invasions that resulted in 10+ years of pointless occupations that ballooned the US debt and consequently the 2007-2008 house market crash.

I guess it's a bit of a tought experiment. If you learned that 3 hours every night when you went to sleep, you'd wake up and go out and kill people then go back to bed and when you wake up, you have zero memories or even an incling that you've been awake half the night. In your normal day to day, you dont have no ill feelings or wish no harm to anyone. Would you consider that to be 'you' doing the killing?

Legally, they would consider it to be you and unless you could prove that 'you' are unconcious through all of this, you'd be punished for the murders, but you'd still feel like you did nothing wrong and all of this happened outside of your controll and that 'somebody else' was doing the killing.

That's how I see it at least.
