Blame FNAF for everything wrong with modern indie horror: despite having no limit on content per definition the utterly shameless efforts to sanitize everything and make it "child friendly" to a degree literally any previous generation in history would consider laughable, to the obsession with absolutely melodramatic "dark secrets" that do not deserve nearly the gravity or hype they're built up with, all the way down to the weird ever present moralism (it's almost like Wokeism is rooted in Gnostic concepts or something).
