When the fuck did /his/ become the containment board? Why the fuck is /his/ just blue /pol/ now?

This is genuinely the worst board on the website. At least you know what you’re getting when you go to >>>/pol/ .

People come to this board expecting history discussion, and instead they get a bunch of retarded TradCath Mexicans repeating Medieval heresies.

>catholics can't actually argue in good faith because it completely btfos their "hope" if they admit that the chances of actually being saved are extremely slim.
The tradtards on here don’t actually know Catholic theology (or any theology), so they just argue their retarded personal opinions and present them as the theological framework of the Catholic Church (or whatever other denomination).

It’s always a pointless argument because you have to actually teach them what they “believe” (since they subscribe to Catholicism or Orthodoxy typically). Once you’ve educated them on their own religion, then you can actually debate their theology. But you never actually reach this point because it would take hours to explain to them that what they’re saying is actually heresy and the Catholic Church would have arrested them for saying such things in the past.

I had a similar issue in a previous thread with a “based TradCath” who was arguing that Jesus took every soul in hell that died prior to 33 AD (like 80 billion people) and took them to heaven. Basically some weird cross between Universalism and the Harrowing of Hell, and he simply refused to admit that almost no denominations subscribe to that interpretation. The most common interpretation is Jesus only saved Biblical figures like Moses, or the righteous only, or even that every soul was given a choice, but most refused. Regardless, every major church believes that the majority of people born prior to 33 AD are currently burning in hell, and he refused to concede this despite being a “TradCath” who apparently subscribes to Universalism.

>You guys aren’t SERIOUSLY Christian are you?
They’re not. Real Christians don’t frequent anime porn websites so they can use slurs and profanity. The things they say here would get them kicked out of nearly every Church in the USA.

They’re political “Christians.” They pretend to be religious because it’s the traditional, contrarian thing to do. They also believe that religion grants them access to women and control over women, but Christian women are not obligated to marry them just because they pretend to be religious. They are single and unloved, and they blame atheism for stealing all the young women that should be in church fawning over them.

>Most people just aren't aware of what the Bible says about this subject, so they don't know what to say.
Because the Bible says shockingly little on the subject. This is partly because, to the people that wrote the Bible, Europe and Arabia were the whole world. The Ancient Jews thought (what is now) Spain was the edge of the Earth. They had no idea that there were Abbos sitting in Australia that wouldn’t learn of the Abrahamic religions until centuries in the future.
>Obviously this is the kind of thing you can never possibly know through empirical means, it is entirely based on what insight the Bible gives us.
All the Bible says on the subject is that god’s existence is evident in creation (“So that no man has excuse”) and that the Law of Moses is written on the hearts of goys. But this is meaningless because it also says (numerous times) that Jesus is the only path to heaven, and knowledge of the life of Jesus is not “evident in creation.” You have to confess with your tongue that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that he was resurrected. Things you can’t believe unless you know who Jesus is or what happened to him. Is that Abbo sitting in Australia not doing the best he can given the knowledge he has?>The only sad part of this picture is that anyone could learn the answers by studying the Bible, but for some strange reason most people simply choose not to.
I really doubt you’ve even read the whole Bible. Different denominations have been arguing over this subject for thousands of years. How can the answer be so “self-evident” if people have spent their lives studying it and still can’t agree.

You retards come here and say shit like “the answer is so obvious, it’s in the Bible” as if there’s not 2,000 different denominations all arguing over the same stuff using the same Bible. The answer clearly isn’t obvious. The answer probably isn’t even in there because the writers didn’t think that deeply about it.
