is there a reason why all these 20th century occultists really liked indian and jewish magic but somehow left out the chinese, who, by my understanding have a much better canon of all sorts of magic and occult practices?

I see that indian and christian views, methodes and concepts are discussed in srg, but does anyone here have something on chinese practices regarding semen retention? like qigong and neidan alchemy

could anyone please help me? i took an interest in chinese magic and downloaded the library but where to start with his "daoist" folder? or where to start anywhere with daoist sorcery/chinese folk magic? im personally interested in qi manipulation, neidan alchemy and protection
