80% of users most likely use windows to run old pirated vidya like say GTA V. While ARM may be more efficient it's value aspect is TUUURBO DOOOGSHIT because it must emulate x86 code and the process will katana slice half of the ARM's chip's native performance in half.
ARM is essentially a huge HUGE scam where you pay more for a computer and get less especially when you factor in a fucking soldered SSD, you know the thing that has a limited lifespan of 1 to a few years depending on how much you use it?

That's still nothing compared to m-disc but I've often wondered if I even want my anime rips to survive that long. In 30 years they'll be like 8k res rendered at 144hz with ray tracing.

AVIF is about 50% more efficient than JXL at compressing anime images/screenshots. Now to be fair that doesn't amount to much at 1080p let alone 720p but it does futureproof for 4K anime.

Majority of the US Navy surface ships are cold war era hulls. You got rid of majority of your navy owned shipyards in the 90's.
Us Navy is a paper tiger for the modern United States simply lack the drydock capacity and the industrial capacity to sustain the ships or ammunition stocks.
>Navy had to pull out from the red sea because bunch of starving people in sandals kept bullying them with improvised weapons and US logistics could not keep up
