The Forgotten Man's theme is "Waltz of Seccom Masada," a short piano track Toby made in 2012 as part of a fan tribute to Yume Nikki. The character known by fans as "Seccom Masada-sensei" somewhat resembles Mysteryman, being a black humanoid figure with a white distorted face. (Mysteryman's face is commonly assumed to be inspired by another Yume Nikki character, Uboa)

The Forgotten Man's personality is certainly different from the Gaster that we know, but they have many other similarities not shared by any other characters. He is a man who has been "forgotten" by the world he came from, erased from time and space with only traces of him left behind. He can only be found in strange places that don't normally exist, in rooms between other rooms. He disappears as suddenly as he appeared, as if he was never there at all. He is described as "strange," and his handwriting is "illegible." He cannot communicate with you within the game world, only in other worlds. And he speaks to you about DELTARUNE.

>Seccom Masada is known for playing the piano

The Seccom Masada and Man connection. Mny compare the "Mystery Man"'s appearance to be like that of Uboa's, so the precedent is there.
What do you two think?
