>highest yonma stable rank ever over 2500 jade hanchans: saint 5
>highest sanma stable rank ever over 2500 jade hanchans: saint 2
I'm pretty sure that proves ranked sanma is harder.
For 5000 games, 10 yonma players have hit stable saint 3, but only 1 sanma player has even hit stable saint 2.

To any sanma anons, I have two questions:

1. If you have a yakuhai pair and you’re intending to pon, do you think it's okay to keep honors over terminals, even without 5 blocks total? You're treating lone honors as a block in this case.
I think it's generally good to do this (just like in yonma), even though it hurts efficiency, as it gives your open hand better defensibility and allows you to upgrade cheap yakuhai nomi hands.

2. When do you think calling yakuhai atozuke is okay in sanma? It’s rarer since there’s no chi, and you often get to pon the yakuhai first, as cutting honors early for efficiency is the standard. However, it's also more easy to draw the tile that puts you in furiten.
