>Wait so Yoshida is the only BASED dude ready to defend a FF game he hasn't worked on?
I dunno if he's the *only* one, but he does seem keen on Making Final Fantasy XI Great Again. This recent discount campaign is apparently so popular that anon said they had to shut down character creation on what is presumably the most popular server, which isn't bad for an ancient MMO that doesn't really get updates anymore.

>Why are we hating him again?
There are some people (including the Australian) who decided long before XVI even came out that they hated Yoshida. It's been happening even longer than the WoW Exodus, though for some people that renewed their passion for hating Yoshida. Then there are third worlders whose entire existence is gacha and 4chan drama, and they've dogpiled on Yoshida just because they saw another person doing it and he samefagged enough that it seeme convincing. It doesn't help that at least one /v/ mod is a WoWfag who also hates Yoshida. Most of the "different" posters here who shitpost about XVI only do so as a secondary characteristic to hating Yoshida, and they likely decided before they played the game (if they played it at all) that they already hated it. They'll shitpost it for not hitting some arbitrary sales number, even those its sales were initially celebrated, while turning around and immediately forgetting that Rebirth sold worse or that Rebirth's lacking sales don't matter for some reason while XVI's does. They'll shitpost XVI for locking the harder difficulties behind beating the game once even though Remake (and to an extent, Rebirth) did the same thing. They'll shitpost Yoshida for saying FF can be anything even though Kitase said the same thing first. They'll shitpost Yoshida for "crying" about the term JRPG even though Nomura did it as well.

It's just Yoshida Derangement Syndrome.

>Revival will win GOTY in 2028, we will elect an actual human being as president and the world will begin to heal.
>Sucks off Rebirth and also seethes about Stellar Blade

>we all know it's going to be Reborn
I've been going with ReCREATE make, birth, create, but ReBORN could be good too. That's not one I've thought of before. Though it might overlap a little bit with ReBIRTH.
