The remake is by all accounts ALRIGHT. But Bloober showed that it didn't understand at all what made Silent Hill 2 stand out. The otherworld was completely fucking retarded. The subtlety and anxiety of the "otherworld" places in the original was very nuanced. It makes no fucking sense why James would be experience Alessa's otherworld. They should have went with the weathered water damaged moldy aesthetic. It was butchered.
