So it's pretty much agreed that Pasqal is the best written character Owlcat ever made, right? Maybe Jubilost could contend with him, but even then, I would give the crown to Pasqal in the end. It's incredible what a standout he is even in an overall stellar cast (minus Yrliet, anyway).

You cannot seriously be trying to defend Owlcat combat dude, it's the worst part about their games, even beyond JRPGs every other western CRPG is also superior to Owlcats. Just look at how badly their games difficulty scales to see a nice clear view on how badly they design encounters and combat, Anvers gangs on Footfall in Act 2 are more threatening than Necrons are in Act 5, because your party gets exponentially more and more powerful and the enemies simply do not keep up in any way shape or form. That is BAD DESIGN, why you would defend it like some cultist rather than rightly criticize it so Owlcat improves it in the future is beyond me. For fucks sake Owlcat themselves admitted the combat in RT is fucked beyond belief and they're going to try and do a big balance patch to make it harder, though I doubt it'll work since the problems with the combat and encounter design are too deep rooted to truly just patch over. Regardless, even the devs of the game are admitting it's fucked you should realize it's a problem.
