I mean, everyone has feelings and everyone prefers to listen to their own, we are all human beings, but why do they have this particular set of feelings?
Just keep peeling it away by repeating "why?" and eventually you'll get an answer. It's more than the logistical realities of reproduction, it's a set of feelings and they are here to stay forever.
