They will never roll back on the bans, they are zealots and will never admit they're wrong even when they know it. It took Harper to abolish the LGR. It would take a different government to abolish C21 and the OICs.
It's far more likely they will continue on their present course of trying to bankrupt the industry by starving gun retailers in the background while parroting false talking points about public safety and ignoring rampant gun crime by gangs.
If there's any notion that Carney is afraid to waste money then you have forgotten he's no longer working for a bank. He has an unlimited spending account now and he's using your money, he can't get fired for wasting it.
