Contrarianism. That's it. Some people can get out of it after a while but some people decide it is their whole life.
It is like playing a team game, not vidya but any team game like sports, and throwing the game and making yourself miserable because someone who you don't like wants your team to win. Or just majority of people wants your team to win. It doesn't matter if it's a player on your team or on other team or spectator or whatever.
These people just kneejerk contrarian over it and cannot stop. It's addicting.
But it is something most people grow out of, and rest just spends most of their energy doing it.
In my view of these threads, the split of people who are "against" SKG are
>70% contrarians we talked about
>15% genuinely misinformed because of the contrarians and because of
>10% PirateSoftware fans who are angry at the movement
>5% industry plants or works on industry aka PirateSoftware kind of people who wants less regulations and don't understand it benefits them in long run to avoid shitty drama and possible legal stuff
