you're not wrong that card games are already niche and that konami plays it safe with yugioh, but that doesn't mean questioning konami's current direction is "retarded" or for "retards".
konami has been coasting off the MVP you mention but competitors like one piece and the new digimon game (is it new or rebooted, I see it people hype it up) prove's there is still room for new experiences especially one by established IPs like yugioh.
nobody is saying konami should copy pokemon or wizards of the coast, but that with the right moves this game can thrive more. /dng/ isn't the only place talking about the game stagnating and its obvious people want something different. whether it be a reboot or a new anime.
