Can you imagine if elves were real? They'd be squatting every decent office job, never retiring, and only hiring other elves. It would be like Boomers and Jews on steroids.

The problem with vampires is that they're too clean and sexy. For an urban fantasy parasitic feeder species I'd want something like the Eaters in Bones and All. I mean, getting over the squick of eating corpses is way more of a hurdle than just licking some blood from someone's neck.
