Why the need to be disingenuous? Skyrim was beholden to its engine capabilities and the interactivity with the world it provided. Go play Witcher 3 and tell me it's as immersive as even the smallest town in Skyrim. You can meme but here's the facts
Witcher 3 Novigrad

>try to speak to an NPC "Huh?"
>only loot consists of shit in drawers that interact the exact same way as if you looted a corpse of a bunch of flowers outside in Helen
Contrasted to Skyrim where virtually every NPC can be spoken too, every house can be entered and every item/loot can be picked up, thrown or manipulated in some way.
I don't even get why people bring up Novigrad so much. Why not bring up GTA 5? It fucking mogs anything CDPR has ever released in terms of city due to the simple fact that the NPCs are way more detailed than even CyberSoy 420s Night City that gets jerked off.
CDPR used its world as set dressing, Skyrims world, like Oblivion, like Morrowind is the entire game.
Linear Narrative Experience versus a fantasy life simulator. That's why Skyrim is still talked about to this day and more popular/successful than your favorite RPG.

They could literally make it Starfield and it would still be kino because Starfield was doomed the minute it was attempting to incorporate planets.
Dialogue system, combat were all improved compared to Skyrim/Fallout 4 and that's all TES6 needs to be. A combat/dialogue improvement over skyrim with more shit.
People pretending TES6 needs to be anything but that are coping because they know they'll be playing it for the next decade just like they did Skyrim
