Admittedly, I'm not too much of a fan of making the Snowmads THAT sympathetic. It would be better if the different arctic species had a peaceful, if strained relationship. Maybe even some hostle relations the Walruses and the Owls But the Kremlings come in and force them to get along, eventually forming a brotherhood around defeating the Kremlings and being Arctic animals After K Rool is defeated, the Snowmads try to absorb the Kongs into their group, and when met with the slightest of resistance, they attack. This way of thinking makes them understandable as villains, while also being arguably MORE sympathetic generational trauma or whatever therapy-speak is used nowadays
