You get low prio by being mass reported for playing like shit or repeatedly abandoning games, or yelling on mic and being a nuisance (and even then you get automuted mainly), nobody gives a fuck otherwise.

Depends on what you mean Deepseek "by itself". Sillytavern is the frontend, but there are multiple options for what backend you hook up to it. Horde is one of them. If you want to run a model locally, you use software like Kobold to emulate a local server and hook that to Sillytavern as well.
If you want the real meaty models, that you can't run on your computer locally, you need to hook up their API to Sillytavern. For corporate models like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok etc. you can only get API access from their respective company (Anthropic, OAI, Google etc.), it costs money and it runs API level censorship. If you want to use some of these, you buy access through Openrouter.
Deepseek is different in that it's an open weights model which means that anyone can download the full model and run it themselves, which also means there are third party providers other than the Deepseek company that run and offer API access to it. In fact, the official DS API is worse than most 3rd parties because they don't let you change some settings like temperature.
Chutes is a provider that (for now) gives API Deepseek for free, with a message limitation. The official API and other third parties are paid, but far, far cheaper than Claude/GPT and far far better than local models.
