So what's in store for her?
>the killer takes out her family next, and she gets tossed in the same garbage pile, begging the protagonist to protect her (he cucks out and she becomes a love interest because that's how edgeslop always goes)
>she goes completely evil and gets fisted by the protagonist (begging for forgiveness after the fact)
And the edgeslop special
>she is actually being abused behind the scenes, and someone forced her to run away like that, she doesn't actually hate the protagonist but no one must know

>mfw I picked up Japanese in march the same year and was good enough by release to understand most of the dialogue myself
It's not just Cyberpunk, you miss out on so many cultural references sometimes it's not even funny and sometimes the translations are flat out wrong, like I was rewatching GTO and character saying "please eat me as a sidedish" was translated to "Please eat with me" (for anyone that saw the show, it's one of the Toroko commercials, she even appears on a fucking riceball) or another one from City Hunter where "peeping tom" was translated to protruding toothed turtle because one way to say voyeur is with 出歯亀 but if you read it literally it can also in fact refer to a turtle with a protruding tooth. This I'd forgive anyone for, had it not been for the scene that the character that was being addressed to was in fact lurking in the bushes stalking someone.
