Rubber bullets in the Shalalalabalogne zone are very very stupid. In a story all about holding hands and accepting other cultures, coming across a cowboy society where killing duels are used to solve disputes the law can't might make you have to confront your feelings with an actual culture that could be considered controversial.
Imagine after 2-3 hours of whacky light hearted hijinks involving bird poop and silly faces, if Billy the Kid or whatever his name was suddenly blew a golf ball sized hole through Bandit Keith's chest with a very real .45 ACP. Maybe his cry for mercy gets interrupted by the gunshot when he realizes he's about to lose. The sheriff tips his hat and asks why you've got a troubled look on your face while the Kid and his gang go off cheering to have drinks in the saloon. Might be a poignant moment. Wasn't accepting death as a part of life a really big part of the latter half of Dawntrail? Might be a really good setup for Alexandria. It might make you think that you just came across a culture where tacos can't solve everything and you stepped into a new part of the world you actually didn't understand. Maybe Erenville can sympathize with the insanity of it all before you move on.

I’m sorry but the Gauntlet is just one of the best pieces of video game music ever made. Up there some of my favorite Skyrim tracks and other greats. To say Kyd outdid himself is an understatement.
