Warner hired a hack, a director who has no talent for writing, doesn't know any of the DC or Marvel characters and has a pleasure in doing everything differently and has bad visual taste. James Gunn should have a boss who is a DC fan and curbs his delusions, but Zaslav gives Gunn more rope to hang himself.
