Gamedev is a waste of time for 95%+ of the people who post here. Just think back to how many devs with much better games than you can hope to make have posted their progress or demos and then eventually gave up and disappeared. JLMG doesn't guarantee that you'll eventually make it, but it is the fastest way to figure out if you have it in you to make it. If you're destined to fail, you should try to fail as fast as possible.
