Drugs are bad because they can literally kill you and you also suffer terrible physical symptoms if you stop taking them.
You could compare it to a psychological addiction like gambling, but psychological additions are only bad (and really, are only diagnosable as addictions) insofar as they begin to cause other areas of a person's life to suffer.
No one here is spending their life's savings on indie games, or losing their job because they can't stop playing indie games.
