Too convoluted and full of holes.
>Why does Robotnik's plan specifically require a five-year old's brain?
>Why someone close to the royal family, of all things?
>If her mind was uploaded to a space satellite, why didn't Robotnik and company keep tabs on their tech?
>How in god's name does Nicole's device-controlling powers extend to telepathic control over sapient organisms?
>Was the future Nicole was scared of one where she oversaw the Roboticizer, or was she going to actually overtake Robotnik and become even worse?
>Why does Sonic shaking the portable unit affect her if her mind is "physically" on the satellite?
>Was Nicole really going to be human? If so, is she linked to whatever Robotnik's backstory was supposed to be?
>She died, hence Sally mourning her loss, yet Sonic was eventually going to help get her body back. So where was it? Did she just suddenly go missing one day and everyone just assumed she died? Did Robotnik fake a suicide note or something? There was seriously no deeper investigation into the disappearance of a royal-family friend? So her body is preserved, and she'd have come back as a five-year old, then who preserved her body for that long? Was it because it was roboticized? If Robotnik had the tech to upload her actual mind to his systems, didn't he also have to tech to just make a 1:1 copy of her mind that he can get away with much more easily instead of making me overthink these uncomfortable questions about a shitcanned idea twenty years later?
The more I think about this "Nicole was a real girl" concept, the more I hate it. It clearly ran on shock juices. The Nicole we got is much better.
