How did Big Tech brainwash people to think accepting cookies and consuming brainrot was cool?

I see people actively shunning those who are not part of the Tiktok lifestyle
Basically the only guys getting laid are cookie accepters

I'm a FOSS coder. So I make no money even though I spend 8 hours a day coding. It's a travesty if you ask me.

Are there any societies that give grants to people like me? There are places where I can get money for equipment like new servers and shit, but that's not what I need. I literally need someone to just give me 12k a year so I can pay rent and eat and keep producing stuff that benefit the world.
