How comes Sapphire looks like she goes shopping in pyjama bottoms in the movie? She's supposed to be a classy heiress.

In classic Gunn style his character is very different from the comics, Gunn turns him into a soft spoken dweeb, in the comics he's a swashbuckling adventurer for hire. Also his girlfriend/wife is a rich heiress but in the movie she looks a bit trashy and their apartment is kind of a dump.
