It's a really low-crime area. Art gallery town, mostly white people. And this was the first time I'd gone in there without a mask in five years. Of all the times to stop that, I chose the day I was going to steal fancy soda.
I don't think my picture is up but they know me and my family there. This drugstore is not regularly stolen from. I keep up on local thefts in the newspaper and it's a walmart in a neighboring town which gets dirtbag meth-head crimes. We're not talking about some hellhole area where stuff is all locked up. We have normal shelves and no bulletproof glass or backpack policies.
